A diploma supplement is the document that travels with a graduate throughout their career. It is the one checked by foreign employers, overseas universities and visa authorities — and it is the one most often targeted for alteration or substitution, because it contains the detailed academic record that a diploma alone does not carry.

We supply complete sets bound with a grommet eyelet (люверс), including black-and-white copy sets where required.

Document Types

• European Diploma Supplement — complete set of 7–15 A4 sheets, bound with grommet eyelet in the upper left corner;
• cover page (title sheet) — A3 format (420 × 297 mm);
• black-and-white copy set — uncoated offset paper 80–100 gsm, eyelet-bound, for archive or duplicate issue.

Format: A4 (210 × 297 mm), portrait or landscape orientation. Design produced to the institution's approved layout. Institution logo and National Qualifications Framework graphic reproduced in full colour.

Security Paper

• grammage 95–100 gsm (±4), UV-dull security paper without optical brightener;
• two-tone or multi-tone watermark — custom design;
• invisible/visible security fibres with UV fluorescence;
• chemical sensitivity (CBS-1) — reacts to acids, alkalis, bleaching agents and organic solvents.

Security Features

Printed security elements

• secure design – guilloche frames and variable-thickness line grids; pseudo-relief (simulated emboss); variable-geometry guilloche grids; microtext;
• anti-copy and anti-scan protection — hidden message appears on any photocopy or scan, invisible in the original;
• UV-reactive inks — invisible in daylight, visible under ultraviolet light;
• thermochromic ink — disappears at body temperature, UV-fluorescent;
• bleach-reactive VOID feature — customised hidden message appears on contact with bleaching agents;
• taggant ink — UV-fluorescent, instrument-verified;
• photochromic ink — changes under light exposure.

Optical Variable Devices (OVD) & Hot-Stamping

• customised hologram, hot-stamped (22 × 29 mm or to specification): origination at minimum 250,000 dpi; possible effects — kinetic effects, rainbow effect, micro lettering, nanoimages with letter height 5 microns, nanosculpture, achromatic images;
• 3DSeal — three-dimensional optically variable security element option.

Numbering

• letterpress serial numbering in security ink with UV fluorescence;
• sequential numbering to agreed range.

Eyelet Binding (Grommet)

Each complete set of supplement sheets is bound with a metal grommet eyelet in the upper left corner. This binding method prevents undetected substitution or addition of individual sheets within a set — an important physical security measure for multi-page academic documents.

Black-and-White Copy Sets

We produce black-and-white copy sets on uncoated offset paper 80–100 gsm, eyelet-bound, for issue alongside the original or for retention in the institution's archive.

Personalisation

Personalisation by digital printing in black ink, from the institution's database (PDF format). Institution logo and colour design elements reproduced in full colour per approved layout.
