Driver & Vehicle Qualification Cards

ZORYA SECURITY PRINTING produces blank cards with security elements for driver qualification documents — known in different jurisdictions as the Driver Qualification Card (DQC), CPC card, or Certificate of Professional Competence card, issued to confirm a professional driver’s initial qualification and periodic training. Cards are manufactured in ID-1 format, matching the physical dimensions used across driving licence and driver-qualification schemes, including those set out under EU Directive 2003/59/EC (as amended).

Card blanks are produced to the national technical specification of the issuing country, with all required security elements built into the base material ahead of personalisation.

We use materials tested for wear resistance in independent laboratories in Europe and the US — the same grades used by governments worldwide for driving licences and ID cards, built to withstand daily handling for years, not months.

Personalisation is carried out by colour retransfer thermal printing at 600 dpi — full-colour on the front, black on the reverse — followed by protective lamination on both sides to guard personal data against alteration, counterfeiting and everyday wear. Together, these choices are what let us guarantee a minimum five-year service life and a high level of forgery resistance.

Alongside the plastic card, we also produce the accompanying paper document — the Certificate of Professional Competence, or its national equivalent — as a secure printed form issued together with the card by the training centre.

Production and personalisation take place in our high-security facility, independently audited every year by an EU-accredited certification body.

We support both established national driver-qualification specifications and the development of a customised document for a new licensing programme.
